don't write us, we'll write you...

(... but we'll say nothing of value, because our ass is more important than yours.)

OMG OMG OMG THEY REPLIED!

What awaits inside the envelope? A scathing rebuke of my impertinence? A, "sorry, we didn't take you on because you just don't fit in with our corporate culture?"

Dear William:

Thank you for your letter. We appreciate the time and effort you made to write to us. We are pleased that you found our Information Meeting and Group Interview sessions informative and encouraging.

We would like to help you prepare for similar situations by providing feedback to you, however our official company policy is that we do not provide feedback in this situation.

There are many opportunities to teach English in Japan and we wish you the best of luck in applying what you have learned to your next opportunity.

Thank you again for your interest in AEON and your participation in our recent interviews in Halifax.

Good luck with your quest to teach English in Japan!

Sincerely,
S. C., Personnel Recruiter
